Mental Health Awareness Week 13th - 19th MayThursday, 9 May 2019
Next week is Mental Health awareness week.
We all face mental challenges from time to time, and we have all heard that:
Exercising regularly, Eating correctly, Talking about our feelings, Living a healthy and balanced lifestyle, Practicing self care and wellness
are all many ways we can advocate good mental health.
But how much do we really practice this on a daily basis?
Take next week to start those changes.
Open up, get outside with your loved ones, change your inner circle, move a little bit more, find a new recipe you’d like to cook for your family and talk about your day/week. I mean really talk about it.
It is normal to have reservations. It’s normal to feel confronted, but work through these emotions rather than letting them get on top of you and continuing to do as you’ve always done. Start with baby steps and don’t be bogged down by what you have always thought was ‘right’.
Be willing to unlearn and continue after next week with the willingness to learn.
And if you need a cuppa and a chat, give us a call
